What are the dimensions?

How long does it take to set up?
With the included double-acting pump, the ice bath is in Âą 5 minutes set up. You can then easily connect the Polarpure module. This takes Âą 15 minutes.
Can I use the chiller/module outside?
Yes, provided in a covered or sheltered place. The chiller has an IPX4 rating, which means it can withstand light rain or splashes of water, but prolonged exposure to rain is not recommended.
Are there any health warnings?
Always consult your doctor in case of: pregnancy, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, diabetes with complications, pacemaker, epilepsy, open wounds, recent operations or risk of frostbite or necrosis.
Ice baths can cause your body temperature to drop, blood pressure to rise, and risks such as cardiac arrhythmias, tachycardia, hypothermia or allergic reactions to occur.
Start gently (1â5 minutes), build up gradually, and listen to your body.
What are the benefits of cold therapy?
Promoting recovery â relaxes muscles and accelerates recovery
Energy boost â increases alertness and mental clarity
Immune system â stimulates and strengthens
Blood circulation â activates by blood vessel constriction
Can I set a timer?
Yes, via the app you can:
- One start/stop timer settings (e.g. automatic cooling in the morning).
- Working with daily or weekly schedules.
This means you don't have to manually switch the device on and off.
What temperature do you recommend?
For most users it is 10â12 °C ideal to experience all the benefits of cold therapy without unnecessary risk.
- Beginners: start around 12â15 °C and reduce slowly.
- Advanced/athletes: often round 5â8 °C.
How often should I replace the water?
That depends on the use and water treatment:
- With chlorine / water treatment: every 4â6 weeks.
- Without treatment: every 1â2 weeks (especially with intensive use).
- Pay attention to odor, color or cloudy water: this is always a signal to change.
How can I adjust the temperature?
Via the display on the Polarpure module you can directly set the desired temperature.
Via the app (iOS/Android) you can operate everything easily: adjust temperature, set timer and program schedules.
What are the costs of energy consumption?
The Polarpure chiller consumes maximum 810 watts per hour (0.81 kWh) when actively cooling.
- In practice, it does not run continuously at full power; on average consumption is around 0.3â0.4 kWh per hour.
- With an average energy rate of âŦ0.30 per kWh this amounts to approximately:
âŦ0.10 per hour active cooling
âŦ0.70 per day at 6â7 hours of cooling

What do I save compared to ice bags?
You will quickly save âŦ200 per month compared to loose ice bags, in addition to the convenience and constant temperature + filtering.
In addition:
- Without a chiller you have to use the water often change almost daily, which results in additional costs and time.
- Carrying, buying and transporting ice also takes a lot of time and effort.
So you are not alone with the chiller lower costs, but also much more ease of use and hygiene.
Explanation:
- You will soon have enough for one bath (300â400 litres). 20â30 kg of ice needed to reach 8â10 °C.
- That costs on average âŦ15â20 per session.
- With 3 sessions per week this increases to: âŦ180â240 per month!
- Huge amount of ice = virtually impossible to store and difficult to get to location.
With the chiller:
- Fixed low energy consumption (Âą âŦ20 per month)
- No more hassle with carrying ice
- Always the right temperature immediately available (+ filtered water).
Should I use something made from chlorine?
Yes, we advise a small amount of chlorine or an alternative water treatment agent (e.g. 1 chlorine tablet or special pool/spa disinfection). Stick to the amount prescribed by the chosen product.
- This prevents bacterial growth and keeps the water clear.
Does the chiller cool continuously?
No, the chiller works just like a refrigerator or air conditioner:
He cools active until the set temperature has been achieved.
Then it switches automatically in and out to maintain that temperature.
đ As a result, the power consumption is relatively low and it does not run constantly.
How much noise does the chiller make?
During active cooling: approx. 50â55 dB (similar to a refrigerator or air conditioner).
Once the temperature is reached it often turns off and is virtually silent.
You can therefore use the chiller in the garden, terrace or garage without inconvenience.
How often can I take an ice bath?
That varies per person. Guideline: 3â5 times a week, sessions of 2â6 minutes. Advanced sometimes daily, but always listen to your body.
Can I filter the water?
Yes. The Polarpure module contains an integrated filter. This ensures that the water remains clean for longer in combination with disinfectant.
How long does it take to cool the water?
Calculate on average that the chiller contains the water 1 to 1.5 °C per hour cools down. Depending on various factors, such as ambient temperature, how much water, etc.
Example: tap water (Âą 15â20 °C) to 10 °C takes an average 6 hours.
The chiller then automatically keeps the water at a constant temperature.
How cold can the ice bath get with the chiller?
The Polarpure chiller cools the water until 3°C, even at warmer outside temperatures.
In practice, most users place the bath in between 8â12 °C for optimal balance between effect and comfort.

How long does delivery take?
Orders are processed within 24 hours. You often receive the product the next day.
Please note, the carrier does not deliver on Sundays and Mondays. In the case of orders placed on Saturday, this means that you will often not receive the product until Tuesday at the earliest.
We do everything we can to process the order as quickly as possible, so that you can enjoy your product as soon as possible!
Are there shipping costs?
Shipping and return costs are free.
What can I do if I receive a damaged or defective product?
If you have any damage to the product, we ask you to contact us info@flamengolife.nl.
If possible, include photos of the damage to speed up the process. We will help you with the report as soon as possible.
Can I return or exchange my product?
If you would like to return or exchange the product, please contact info@flamengolife.nl.
We will then help you further.
You can return or exchange the product within 30 days, provided you have adhered to the terms of our warranty policy.
In most cases, the paid amount will be processed within 14 days. This also applies if you exchange the product.
How long do I have a warranty on the ice bath and chiller?
There is a 12-month warranty. You can read more about this on the warranty page.
